At the graphic village of Platanias, on a hill-side of Ano Platanias, lies the Astrea Restaurant. In a location with an extraordinary view at Theodorou Island and the beach, we have created since 2000 our restaurant.
In a beautiful place with verandas over the hill-side in two levels, we have combined all the elements that tight together the traditional Cretan architecture with a modern Aegean breeze.
The tying of the light colour stone and wood, the furniture in white combined with soft colorations and background the magnificent view, are creating an atmosphere that will charm you from the first moment.
The assiduity of our cuisine has our mother, Mrs. Chrisoula, that professionally deals with cooking for 40 years now, offering delicious dishes that combine the traditional Cretan cuisine with a modern tasty perception.
All our dishes are carefully chosen and we use only pure local materials and virgin Cretan olive oil.
